The Waukegan Regatta is the first installment of the Goose Island Distance Series.
The Assylum led wire to wire in the light air race north. The rest of the fleet traded positions with each shift in the wind and the finishing order was not determined until 100 yards from the finish. Very exciting close One Design racing.
The party was fantastic. The J105 fleet dominated the beer pong table; completely decimating all challengers including 40.7's, 36.7's and J111's. After a few hours of sleep another light air day faced the fleet.
