2018 J105 North Americans

The Class Executive voted yesterday to accept a proposal for CYC & Little Traverse Yacht Club to host the J105 North American Championship in July 2018. The Chicago-Mackinac race would be  a long distance navigation race and then as part of the Ugotta Regatta in Harbor Springs, MI fleet buoy races would be the North American Championship.

This a great opportunity for boats to do their bucket list of a Mac and a NA Championship back to back. Traveling boats will also be encouraged to hang around for the Verve Cup.

There a lot of details still to be worked out, but mark the date on your calender's now. The J105's are always the largest One Design Fleet for the Mac & the Ugotta Regatta is a great event in a beautiful setting. With more than 42 boats signed up for the NA'a latter this month in Larchmont, the J105 Fleet is stronger than ever. This could be the sailing event of a lifetime.
